Waterfall

established in 1796

This luxury holiday apartment is housed in a converted Water Mill dating back to 1796.

The Mill has stunning views over the unspoilt rolling fields and hills of Galloway to the front with a secluded valley and waterfall to the back. Visiting wildlife include deer, hare, red squirrel, voles and bats. While staying at Waterfall, you are likely to watch red kites, nuthatches, grey wagtails and dippers from your living room windows.

The apartment has been recently restored and furnished with comfort in mind by Anna & Eric Paterson who live nearby.

The village of Crossmichael is about 4 miles from Castle Douglas, a thriving market town. In Castle Douglas you will find lots of artisan foods and craft shops as well as many coffee shops and restaurants. Kircudbright, the artists' town is a short drive away with many interesting houses, gardens and museums to visit. The Stewartry region is a haven for walkers and bird watchers with many stunning hill and sea walks in the area.

The quiet, natural ambience of Crossmichael Mill means that your stay will be a peaceful retreat from busy town life and we look forward to welcoming you to Waterfall soon.
